These pictures are the first attempt at using a CCD videocamera. The model, which is not for astronomical use, is for video surveillance. The cost is considerably less than the ones you can buy in an astronomical shop. These shots are single frames obtained to the prime focus of a Schmidt Cassegrain 8". The videocamera is connected to a telextender tube (without eyepiece) through a C adapter. Last but not least the seeing was far from good...
