Hi, my name is Mamy ( well, my birth certificate actually

says MANNY ). I was born in Italy on 18th March 1998.

I live in Verona with three humans and that pain in the

neck Papy.

Everyone fusses me enormously. I make

myself understood with my golden heart rather than by

barking.

Obviously, I need humans for certain everyday things but,

believe me, it's mutual and, in any case, I'm sure I've got

lots of credit due to me.

You know, us dogs get a lot of attention from humans not

the least because a lot of them need affection themselves,

but I can tell you that they have to earn OUR affection.

If they pass the test... well, we'd give our lives for them!

I'd like to tell you about the life of a friend of mine, alias Good Looking (Faccia Bello) it's all in a book by his "owner" (humans don't realise We own Them)

Ciao. I'm Papy: I must admit, the name on my birth

certificate is SLAGHEK TEMISTOCLE at OCOBO.

I was born in England on 20th February 1999.

They called me Temistocle after my human

grandfather because that was his birthday as well.

I enjoy life here because I play a lot with Mamy and Marco and a bit with Lella and Gianni as well. I speak three languages, by the way: English, of course,

Italian and some Veneto dialect.

Everyone gives me cuddles and sometimes I'm affectionate as well; I like being stroked, as long as it's not too much. I adore the armchair life and

love being with Mamy, who is so reassuring and patient.

Humans are useful.

My dream? Live up to the traditions of my name

and even become a Champion.
